That butt won't get any smaller by sitting on it...

I'm 31 years old. I've been chunky for a good deal of my adolescent and adult life. I don't want to be chunky anymore. I am an emotional over-eater, binge eater, and a foodie, which makes for a BAD combination. I do not want to be skinny; I want to be fit. I want to be healthy. I want to fit into clothes.

I like fitness, I just hate not being motivated. I enjoy step aerobics, yoga, pilates, swimming aerobics, ballet, tap dance, hiking. I'd love to learn boxing, kayaking ...

I like fitness, I just hate not being motivated. I enjoy step aerobics, yoga, pilates, swimming aerobics, ballet, tap dance, hiking. I'd love to learn boxing, kayaking (which I've done twice and crave more!), surfing, indoor rock climbing (which I tried recently! Woo!), and breaking dishes. I'm always looking for inspiration and motivation!

On June 13th, 2010, I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BA in Theatre; Minor in History (women's/gender studies focus.) Since achieving this milestone, my goals have changed. I want to enter a Master's Degree program in nutrition to become a Registered Dietitian.

Well... if chocolate is evil... and so are brains... then brains must taste like chocolate... right? So yes. Brains are delicious. :D

I think there's some truth to brains being evil. Think about it... zombies are generally evil (perhaps just misunderstood and confused, but I'm sticking with evil for my analogy) and they crave brains as a rule of thumb. Vis a vis, brains are evil. That's my critical thinking skills, which you can't fault, because they came from my evil brain. :D lol. That was fun. You should go camping!!!! :D I totally want to do a couple trips next summer now - this summer's vacay days are already spoken for, otherwise I'd definitely go again.

I was so happy to see your comment! I was thinking about you last night (and ARCHIMEDESII) and how I've neglected you! Kohlrabi is hard to describe -- I like it. It's mild, but sort of makes me think of a cross between a potato and a cabbage. That doesn't seem right. I've never seen one at a grocery store, so they must not hold up to shipping well. The first one I had was from my CSA, then I bought them at a farmers market, and one of my uncles grew them this year. I like that both the greens and the bulb are edible.

Yes, kayaking in the river current is harder than in a bay, but probably not quite as challenging as in the ocean. I'm going to try to go once a week or so for the rest of summer. After all I've got the boat, a truck, and access to lots of water. Why not?
