To make my oats I buy instant rolled oats/steel cut oats.
I put 1/3 cup oats, 1/3 cup water, and 1/3 cup skim milk in pan on medium heat with a sliced banana. I let it sit until it starts bubbling and then I stir it continuously over med-low heat for 1-2 minutes stirring in 1 Tbsp. of brown sugar. In about 5 minutes they are done! I then add toppings like raisins, granola, fruit, or maple syrup!
