There is a lot of information available on the boards, teams that offer motivation, encouragement and support while having fun with different challenges, setting goals and playing games. So grab a glass of water and get started on your journey!
I have buddies from the week I joined SP, that I got to know in my SPARK CLASS. I also have buddies from several teams. So, my best suggestion is to be active on some of your teams.
I have always chosen pretty healthy foods. The nutrition tracker helped me realize how much I was actually eating. By cutting my calories about 250 / day from what I was eating, I have been able to lose weight. I have found that increasing my exercise has been the most important factor for me. The exercise has been key in getting my cholesterol under control. Even if I eat 500-600 fewer calories from what I used to, I don't seem to lose weight. The smaller decrease combined with exercise has been a winner for me.
