"When you look in the mirror and see no change, and still keep faith, knowing that in time you will get there if you stay focused and on track, that's the difference between those who succeed and those who fail."
Loved reading your blog about staying the same. I have "plateaued" for the last month after losing 25-30 pounds in the last six months. It's a brain game to not let it get to you. After reading your blog I have decided that my plateau is just part of the process of letting my body do what it needs to do to continue the journey.
Hey John... I enjoyed your blog about how you injured yourself when you hit a plateau..and it's a direct reflection of my journey...love to hear more about what you have done differently since you returned a yr. later..after getting hurt...I guess we all react differently..I totally shut down..emotionally..and physically when I wasn't healing and enjoying running which I had done..cont. for the past two yrs...then my wt. came flooding back and then some..I have the mind set now of not looking back..only forward to what I can do today..tomarrow..if God gives me that day..and I have had less bodily injury...before..it was torn muscles..spranged ankles weekly..and I was in a lot of pain..but kept pushing through it..now I'm not taking anything..and am happy with how my body feels now...getting over a motorcycle accident..which bummed up my knee to the pt.. I prob. will never run a 5k..but I want to walk some 5ks.. in the future...have a goal for one in 2015....and goals get us moving and keep us there...have a super day..like to hear from you again...Rico
