Living a fit, healthy, adventurous life

I'm Jaymee, I'm 29 and from NEPA.

I'm currently working to become strong and healthy, physically and mentally. I'm battling Binge Eating Disorder while working on losing weight in a healthy manner. I'm getting married 1-18-14.

My ultimate goal is to be fit and healthy. I don't know what size or weight that will be although i'd like to end up around 150 pounds (i'm 5'5 with a large frame). Mostly I want to have a healthy relationship with my body and with food.

I want to feel good, strong, sexy and healthy.

I am interested in getting as fit as possible. I want to hike, climb mountains, run/walk charity races and all kinds of other things in a healthy fit body! I want my life to be active.

I do my best to eat mostly healthy food. I try to stay in my ranges. I'm a binge eater who is trying to stop!

Perfect is the enemy of the good. Black-and-white approaches never worked all that well for me either. I'm focusing on getting through my CSA produce every week and trying to avoid buying chocolate at the grocery store :)

Lifting is...going. My plans for two or three powerlifting meets this year have been derailed by work stuff...I have one (hopefully two because the second is in Japan!) conferences that coincide with the meets. It's sort of a bummer, but finishing up the PhD is my main focus right now. I've slacked off the past week since I was traveling a lot and just gave blood, but I'll get back into it Tuesday. Not sure I'll go ahead with powerlifting since I don't have a competition planned, I might go back to Oly.

How are your lifts these days?

triple digits are SO CLOSE! just be consistent with your lifting, make sure you eat enough (haha i say that like it's easy) and get reeeeal friendly with your lacrosse ball :)

nice! your OHP sounds fine for starting out--it'll pretty much always be your weakest lift no matter what. if the barbell is throwing you off, that sometimes points to shoulder mobility issues...get a lacrosse ball and dig in :)
