Me @ 199 lbs (-57 lbs).

Trying on clothes @ 189 pounds (-67 pounds lost).
The past year and a half of my life has been all about change and starting over.
My journey to better health and a better me started on May 1, 2012. I was upwards of 256 pounds, severely depressed, and my then husband was in the final stages of infidelity and ultimately divorce. It was my lowest low, and I was ready for something better for myself.
Between then and July 2012 I managed to lose about 68 pounds and gain an unbelievable amount of freedom, confidence, self-worth, and ambitions for the future. But as with any journey - I hit a snag! Between August and September of this year, I somehow managed to fall of the wagon and gain 10 pounds back!
So now I'm ready to revamp and make changes all over again in an attempt to meet my lifelong dream of a healthy, worthwhile lifestyle and a body to match. So here I am, trying to keep on keeping on!
1.) Reach 150 pounds. Between 2/1/15 and 2/1/16 lose at least 6 lbs a month.
2.) Adopt permanent healthy lifestyle changes.
05/1/2012 - 256 lbs.
1/19/15 - 231.4 lbs
2/1/15 - 222.4 lbs (- 9 lbs)
2/1/16 - 150????
Eat 1200-1550 Calories everyday.
Maintaining a diet focused on natural, fresh, and/or non-processed foods.
Drink at least 64 oz of water everyday.

Sister shopping sounds awesome! I still fit in a lot of my old clothes, but they are getting to be uncomfortably baggy. It's hard to believe that they were once so tight that I couldn't breathe! Robin took me clothes shopping in May, and all of those clothes are too big as well.
I'm so determined to be 200 pounds by Christmas. If I actually reach it, I'm going to allow myself to eat whatever I want at the family Christmas party at Andy's aunt's house. Then I'll have to set a whole new Christmas goal for next year. I'm excited.

Blender balls are magical, and everyone should own at least one. It's a plastic tumbler with a screw on lid that pops open so you can drink out of it. Inside is a wire ball. You can put anything in it and shake it to blend. Obviously, it won't be breaking up ice or properly mixing in peanut butter or whatever, but it's good for mixing powder up with just magical arm power. Also, it's the lazy way of mixing powder without pulling out the blender.
It is awesome for scrambling eggs. You just crack your eggs in there and shake the hell out of them

Not 100% sure when the fair is happening yet, but I'm thinking it'll probably be Tues the 8th. It'll be a weekday at any rate! If you want, I'll keep you posted.

Hey there, Sis. Sorry your birthday wasn't what you were expecting. I wish I could have been there to take you out and get you delicious treats.
For some reason, my Facebook likes to cut messages off mid-paragraph, so I'll type this part here... My mother and my little brother Michael are wanting to go to my wedding thingo, but she can't afford 2 plane tickets, so I thought maybe the three of you, or even five of you (Rachael and Miriam) could rent a car together and split everything. It would be really cheap that way.
I love you, I miss you, and know that I'll always be there for you if you need advice, moral support, or whatever.

I won't know whether or not this hotel has a mini fridge until we get there. For some reason, most higher end ones don't, though you can request one. At cons, though, so many people request them you usually don't get one. You have to tell them you have diabetes and have physical proof (insulin vial, etc) to get the fridge! It's madness. I wish hotels would just stock them in every room! We're staying at a Hampton, so it's not super high end. The room is really tiny, so there MIGHT be a fridge. After we check in, though, my ride around town is gone. lol. It'll be tricky!
