Hi, my name is Bobbi Jo, I am 50 years old, I have lost 46 pounds with SP since 5-23-09. Two of which I have gained back over Christmas, And I'm working on getting those off quickly! I am ready for Spark People Bootcamp and BLC 12 and I'm hoping to be a big loser on both these teams, I'm ready to give it my all!

Over all I am happy with my weight loss thus far, My blood pressure is more stable, I have much more energy and don't suffer with as many aches and pains as I did ...

Over all I am happy with my weight loss thus far, My blood pressure is more stable, I have much more energy and don't suffer with as many aches and pains as I did before I started SP.
I would love to reach my final weight loss goal by July 1, 2010. I know that losing this weight is going to make me healthier than I have been for several years, as I already see and feel those changes coming about.

Hopefully this will help to keep me motivated for the months to come. My sister Gloria and I are going to be the skinny ones in our family for a change!

Personal Information:
Born in IN and have lived here most of my life.

Happily married since 1995. I have 2 sons,
ages 27 and 20, I have
2 boxers: 1 female: 5 yrs.
1 male: 4 yrs.

With my boys grown and out on their own I now have time for myself. I want to lose weight and get my blood pressure under control, and just become healthier!

Other Information:
I love animals, especially dogs and horses. I prefer them over most people because their love is genuine and unconditional, they are good listeners and they never judge you.

I would rather spend my time outdoors especially in the spring and fall, when the colors are so pretty and the temps are mild, between 50 and 70 degrees.

I love horseback riding, fishing, gardening, painting, sewing, (though I don't do much of it any more) antiquing, yard saling and auctions, among a variety of other things

Hey, Bobbi Jo! I'm doing well, thank you for asking! It's bitterly cold in TN with a little snow. I don't like being cold. I'm doing well with the cultivating joy. I just told my mom I'm coming to Arkansas in a couple of weeks for her 70th birthday. I never go home in Feb. Needless to say, she's quite happy! I'm a little discouraged that the scales are not really budging, but I'll continue on! How are you?
