2014: Making Possibilities My New Reality

My life has been on hold for as long as I can remember. I've spent too much time just waiting... waiting for weight to magically drop off, waiting for goals to be met, waiting for life to be better, waiting to be happy, waiting, waiting, waiting.

No more waiting, I'm going to start living. I'm going to start slow and build myself up - no pressure, no stress, just baby steps to reach my goal of being a happy and healthy individual getting more enjoyment out of life.

Personal Information:
I love shopping, reading, writing, watching movies and tv shows, and eating in restuarants. I love to cook and bake, do charity work, and I like to clean and organize things.

I love driving around in my car alone, listening to music and singing along - badly and loudly!

I love my job as a buyer/commodity person - lots of desk work and geeking it up. In October of 2013 I was made director of an activities committee, which works with a lot of local charities. It's been very, very rewarding playing an active role with the multiple charities.

Other Information:
I can't wait to try out P90X3, and am eager to try out Shakeology!

I am already the proud owner of Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, Chalean Extreme , Power 90, P90X, Slim in 6, INSANITY, Hip Hops ABs, Focus T25, The Shred, belly dancing videos, the Bender ball video's, and Zumba Fitness. I also belong to a gym.

I have a bunch of equipment like a yoga mat, free weights, resistance bands, stability ball, ab ball, and stair stepper.

Thanks for leaving a message on my sparkpage! It means a lot that you checked in with me. The last 6-8 weeks have been a blur. Not in a great way. I've been maintaining weight and not making much progress but it's all my own doing. I haven't really had my head in the game, so to speak. I've been doing a lot of unnecessary snacking and not tracking my food. I've found that tracking my food is essential for positive results. I have been exercising but my heart wasn't in it.

This week has been a different story. I'm sure it has nothing to do with a New Years resolution or anything, I don't usually make resolutions. But I feel like something has changed, the spark I got when I first started this journey of mine has been relit. Kind of like you have to stoke the fire to keep the flame alive. I've been stoked. Don't know what it was but my brain has switched back to drive from neutral.

I'm glad you're blogging again, it's good to see you working toward a few goals, let's DO this!

Hi! Thanksgiving week was spent on the couch with the flu... Yeah, that was not fun whatsoever! Hopefully Christmas will be better!

What about you? How was your thanksgiving?

Hey! Hope things calm down for you for a while. :)

No reason to be nervous about starting T25. You got through Insanity. Remember that! T25 will not be a piece of cake, but you can do it! I believe as long as you continue with your workouts and eat healthy, you will see results with T25 because not only will you be working out different muscles but also because you will be eventually using weights with this program.

Hope you are feeling better and looking forward to reading about your journey with T25!
