My Goals:
My goal is to get to a health wt. of 175.Most of all I want to change my thinking about eating...not to use it for comfort or stress relief or emotions. Get rid of stinkin thinking and begin to think truthfully about life's course. Develop alternatives to emotional eating such as what I call "right brain living". Using the R brain, and thinking right (truthfully).

My Program:
Stop negative bashing when I fail.

Gym 3x a week after 2 weeks into Spring into Summer challenge.

1500/30gm fat diet
as much fruit as I want (fruit is free)



Personal Information:
Name is Joy.
I enjoy grandkids and staying active....even when my body hurts! I don't want it to hurt more, so I am gradually easing into this program. I know I have to lose weight and become active to get healthy and stay that way.

Other Information:
I have had minor difficulties in the past couple of years, so I want to get the weight off and engage the healthy lifestyle that is just that....for life.

I noticed your comment in the Jets discussion thread about losing 6 pounds in a week. I just lost 5 pounds last week because I cut out all foods with refined sugar and flour in the first 4 ingredients, and I ate something every 2-3 hours. Try it! You might be surprised!!!!!! I sure was!! You can do this!

How are you doing on your goals for the 6 to10 pm troublesome time slot? Your plan sounded pretty reasonable, and I wonder if it working for you.

One of the ladies on our Jet Team challenged me to add some exercise so I did. For two days now I have gotten myself out walking and doing strengthening. I don't know why I stopped, but I was glad she "kicked my backside" to get me moving again.

I wanted to stop by your page and say Hi. I am on the Jet's team for the 5% winter challenge. Did you figure out your issues with navigating the web page. I found it just takes spending a few hours clicking on things and I finally sort of figured it out.

There are some amazing things to read. I have found the blogs to be inspiring and some, very difficult. I have such a good life compared to the challenges many people face and this inspires me to work harder for myself and to try to be a positive role model for others.
