My name is Joyce and I live in Baltimore. I am tired of being on the diet treadmill and I want to make some lifestyle changes and become healthy and fit. In the process I want to lose weight, become more flexible, gain confidence and start living life more fully. I feel as if I have spent so much of my life trying to hide.
Last year I started to run/walk, but when the love of my life had a cancer scare I got off track. Once that happened I lost my confidence and my stamina, gained more weight..... And here I am.

My life has gotten pretty chaotic. My Love has colon and liver cancer,. I have become a caretaker while still working full time. I am still trying to find the balance of taking care of everything and taking care of me.

I'm joining the Spring 5% challenge . I am going to commit to cutting out sugar and processed foods. I am going to commit to doing my run/ walking 3 times a week, yoga class or DVD 1 week and strength exercises 2 a week.

I want to make lifestyle changes...eating healthy foods, taming my sweet tooth, exercising more
Regularly, meditating...
I want to lose about 40-50 lbs. I want to be fit and healthy.

My Program:

-Cutting out the CRAP (carbonated, refined, artificial, and processes foods)
- 8 or more glasses of water every day.
- Cardio at least 30 min
6-7 times per week.
- Strength Train 2-3 times per week
