Loving Myself

Showing love to our friends and family is important, but just as important, yet more difficult at times, is loving ourselves. We need to realize that we are important enough to take the time and effort to make healthy choices. When we love ourselves we will make it our first priority to eat healthy foods, exercise, and have a positive attitude.

I want to be healthy again--look good--feel good--find the me that's been lost. I'm hoping sparkpeople can help me do that.

Right now my short term goal is 20 lbs in 10 weeks started 8/20/12, ending 10/29/12. Wish me luck!

Result--I lost about 15 lbs!

My new goal is 20 lbs in 10 weeks (over holidays, so it might be tricky) started 10/29/12 (158.8), and ending 1/6/13. I'll keep you posted!

My Goals:
My goals this year are all about things that are truly important to me: Loving my family, worshiping God, and becoming the best me possible.

I'm going to post a blog outlining them more specificially, so feel free to check it out if you want more details.

My Program:
"The Process" works! I just need to keep being consistent and implementing the things that have already been working for me, and the results will follow!

For Nutrition, I am tracking my food and calories on sparkpeople. I reached my 100 day streak, so let's try for 200!!

For exercise, I do zumba, yoga, walk/run, bike, and whatever else comes my way.

I can't give up. It's time for me to take control of my body and my health. This is the year that I'm going to reach my fitness goals and then figure out how to maintain my fabulous new body!

Personal Information:
I live in Boise. I have 4 kids who are getting too big way too fast, and a wonderful, supportive husband who lost about 75 pounds 10 years ago, and has kept it off. My family is my support, my motivation, and my life. I also like reading, crocheting, quilting, and dancing.

Other Information:
Tracking my food has made all the difference in working toward my goals. I let myself indulge in my favorite goodies, but only within my calorie range. I am really going to reach my goals this time! I'm so excited to have the challenges of maintaining once I'm there.

Some reward ideas:
massage, mani/pedi, lash extenstions, new jeans, new swimsuit, movie night, yoga clothes, fitbit, bike accessories, zumba shoes, new running shoes
