Thank you for reading my blog about why people should be Thankful. eva

Most of All
Thanksgiving Day brings to mind
the blessings in our lives
that usually go unnoticed:
a home that surrounds us
with comfort and protection;
delicious food, for pleasure
in both eating and sharing;
clothes to snuggle up in,
books and good entertainment
to expand our minds;
and freedom to worship our God.
Most of all we are thankful
for our family and friends,
those treasured people
who make our lives extra special.
You are part of that cherished group.
On Thanksgiving, (and every day)
I appreciate you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

"Every day of our lives we are faced with a choice.
The choice to BE, or to be truly AMAZING.
Ask yourself if what you're doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.
No matter who you are, or what you do, you absolutely, positively do have the power to TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE."

I'm glad Thanksgiving was a happy time in your childhood. Mine was much the way you described yours, except my Grandma's house was small, how we all managed to fit in is more than I can figure out. But as small as the home was, the table was quite large, and for the extra people, I guess we just filled our plates and took them elsewhere to eat. Not outside, you can be sure, for I was raised in N. MN where the winters are especially COLD.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing!
Hugs, Eve
