THIS IS WHAT I NEED AND WANT TO DO

Hi, I'm over the age or 60 and am retired. I have Post Polio Syndrome so exercise is NOT an option. I really need to get my weight down and KEEP it down.

2014 Goals:
1.Loose 2 lbs each month (this is better than gaining)
2.Stay on track while traveling
3.Stay positive
4.NO MINDLESS EATING
5.Be thankful for what I can do and not waste anything!

My year end goal to be 24 lbs lighter. I started my year at 219.2 and hope to end up at 195! ...

My Goals:
I started in 2007 and wanted to lose 20 lbs. It is now 2014 and thanks to traveling I am back where I started in 2007! UGH!! So 2014 will be my year to finally do it. I will lose 24 lbs this year.

My Program:
I have started to follow Weight Watchers, the old point program because I know that one. I cannot do most exercises because of the Post Polio Syndrome so it is extra hard for me to lose the weight. I can do about 10 mins. of exercise in a pool per day, if it is a good day!


Personal Information:
I was born in Pennsylvania and now live in the wonderful Sate of Florida! I am married to a wonderful, fantastic man. Between us we have 3 children, and 4 grandsons and 1 lovely granddaughter. We love to travel and I use a walker with a seat so I can travel. When we do all day walking events I use my scooter! I love to paint, quilt, bake, cook and read on my kindle.

Thanks for the strawberries! Believe it or not, I'm still eating frozen strawberries from our patch from last summer. They are wonderful in my oatmeal in the morning. Hope you're doing well!

The answer is yes, fruits and veggies are free. Even bananas. Of course potatoes and yams are pointy.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I joined WW online for $18.95 through Feb 1. It was a special promotion. If you start lurking around on their site, they will start sending you promos. In the Points Plus plan, all fruit and veggies are no points! It has certainly encouraged me to eat more of them. Maybe we could help each other! I am committed!

I would be happy to just have a place of my own again, to be surrounded by my fabric, pictures, and memories (which are still tucked in my house). Had tried bartering with my GF's daughter - her to pack my house & I would offer them my van in exchange. Found out she doesn't want to do the work... she just wants the vehicle and that will not happen!

Time to find other options...
