Just Confuzzled

I've come to a conclusion. I believe it's possible for more than one approach to work for someone (approach to diet/exercise/etc), but for results to happen you have to have consistency and stick to whatever approach you choose. I'm very inconsistent, and it's causing me to be unsuccessful and unmotivated. So today (08/24/2014) I reset my SP account, deleted all my old blog entries, and am committing myself to a whole year of No S: No Snacks, No Seconds, and No Sweets, except Sometimes on ...

I'm very inconsistent, and it's causing me to be unsuccessful and unmotivated. So today (08/24/2014) I reset my SP account, deleted all my old blog entries, and am committing myself to a whole year of No S: No Snacks, No Seconds, and No Sweets, except Sometimes on "S" days (Saturdays, Sundays, and Special days such as birthdays and national holidays). I'm also taking the No S advice of introducing 14 minutes of daily activity into my No S days.

When it comes down to it, this is how I want to live. It's simple... no special counting, no buying special foods, no denying special treats when they're appropriate. I also reset my weight loss ticker so that it doesn't reflect what I've lost before. I want to focus on THIS year and what's ahead of me, instead of reliving the mistakes of the past that's gotten me stalled where I am.

After this year, if it's not working, then who knows... I may reconsider and try something else. But I'm going to give it an opportunity to work. I'm at least going to try and give this method a fighting chance!

My Goals:

My Program:
I've decided to hop back on the No S train for the time being: No Snacks, No Seconds, and No Sweets, except Sometimes on "S" days (Saturdays, Sundays, and Special days).

I've had several "diets" help me along my path so far (weight watchers, calorie counting, intermittent fasting, medifast, No S), and I'm hoping this is the method that I need to focus on right now to get me back on track!
