Are you who you want to be?

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. As we let our own light shine, we ...

As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

I know people who have gone back to school, worked and raised their family and I am pretty certain I could never do it! Kuddos to you but I know that makes you a super busy person and that it is probably even harder to make time for yourself. I've glad you are thinking of strategies for it though and how to manage that stress.

Running....well week 2 day 1 was tough. Jogging for 2 minutes is a lot harder than jogging for 1 min. I am considering doing 1:30 for a week and then bumping up to 2 the next week. I was supposed to go out for day 2 on Saturday but the wind was blowing and cold so I took my oldest shopping for her birthday instead emoticon
Tomorrow will be a jogging day, but I think I will start lower like I mentioned.
The kids and I had our 2nd ski lesson yesterday. I'm so sore! We had a lesson from 10-12 and then we skied on our own from 1230 - 2. I'd say we had at least 3 hours of skiing. It was fun though.
I've also decided to try a lower carb diet. I'm not having much luck with what I've been doing so maybe this will help. I've read a lot about how women become carb intolerant as they get older - we just don't process them like we used to. Anyhow, not following any particular diet plan but just cutting back the carbs in general and making them whole grain and 1/2 cup servings size when I have them.
Have a great week this week!!

Eh, I spent most of the fall being a downer! We could of kept each other company! The others on the team were doing so well I actually commented and posted very little because I didn't want to screw up any one else's momentum. So I just lurked, lol. I'm glad your back though. I see your update is showing that you are getting in some jogging! That is great news. I downloaded the Rookie Running program off of spark but I've yet to get a chance to do anything with it. Soon I hope! I wouldn't worry about crossfit - maybe you will really love it! And if not you can do anything for a finite period of time, right? emoticon
