I've been workout fanatic for a while now, but I had no idea I was consuming so many calories until I started SP in Jan 2009. I use SP to track my food and make Spark Friends. I like discussing workouts and food and life with my friends on here so feel free to add me as a friend or send a message! I have also fallen so incredibly in love with working out that I have decided to work on becoming a personal trainer. I have started a blog on my website www.thegetinshapegirl.com.

My Goals:
Start measuring my body fat monthly and get it at least under 20%.

I want to have a 4-pack or at least visible abs.

Go to power yoga twice a week.

Keep my booty nice and big, round and firm by doing max muscle growth training 2 x's a week.

Walk on my lunch break daily.

Run a short distance during the week and a long distance on the weekend, and if I miss one it has to be made up on another date.

My Program:
Monday - Morning elliptical/ abs/ stretching (40 min.) 1 hour yoga at 5:30. 1 hour Catz circuit training at 7:30.

Tuesday - Morning elliptical/ abs/ stretching (40 min.) Booty workout/ short run/ abs/ stretching after work.

Wednesday - Morning elliptical/ abs/ stretching (40 min.) 1 hour of Yoga at 5:30. 1 hour Catz circuit training at 7:30.

Thursday - Morning elliptical/ abs/ stretching (40 min.) 1 hour CATZ circuit training at 6:30.

Friday - Morning elliptical/ abs/ stretching (40 min.) Booty/ abs/ some sort of cardio after work.

Saturday - 1 hr Catz circuit training at 8am and 1 hr yoga at 10:30. Long run.

Sunday - 90 minute yoga at 10am.

Not all of these are necessary, but if something is missed it should be made up for, except the AM workouts. I have a habit of underestimating the importance of rest.

yes i have been frustrated but i do feel better! with all this school work its been so hard and i had a family emergency last weekend and ended up driving home. all is well now, so i am hoping for a quick week and a nice 3-day weekend (and valetines!!) yay!! and yes my new thing is eat "sweets" on S days... catchy right? we can do it:) and i am off to read your blog RIGHT now!!

I think you're right on about the not skipping the nutritionist. I figured this visit is what I need to kick me in the butt. Plus then I get to tell him how I've been having so much trouble eating right since I've been working, moving, and all over tired. He'll probably have some good advice, I'm sure he sees stuff like this all the time. I do want this, I'm just having trouble being motivated lately. I literally go to bed at 8pm every night, in bed around 7pm.

I told a girlfriend I just can't find the time, and she said you have to MAKE the time. So in my new house, we'll have LOTS of extra space, so I'm setting up an exercise room. Right now I just have my elliptical in there, but I will get a stability ball and some hand weights and a full length mirror. Then I'm also putting a TV and DVD player in there too. I'm thinking of upping our Netflix package so I can rent trash TV like Real Housewives and it will keep me entertained in the room for at least an hour at a time. This weekend I'm also going to try and mass produce some meals. But until then, I'm sticking with Lean Cuisine. All of my kitchen stuff is packed and even making a salad is stressful and challenging right now. Maybe it's an excuse, but come next Monday in the new house, there will be no more excuses!

Also, Shaun and I had sold our townhouse last year. We've been in a TINY little rental house. So technically, we'll just have 1 house. And um SHAME ON YOUR BOYFRIEND!!! He should be helping you out on rent, I bet he LOVES to stay there with you.

Not much on the Vday or Bday front for me. We're moving this weekend and we try to avoid all restaurants on the 14th, but I think we're going to try and hit up the bar at a steakhouse for the 14th and my bday. Shaun made plans with this volunteer organization for my bday... it's hard to be mad about that, but I am. He's offered to cxl, but I think I'll just milk the incident and make him take me out doubley the next weekend. Plus a new outfit to console myself. We do have Monday off, the day before my birthday, but I'm sure we'll be spending that unpacking... yea fun! *sarcasm intended*

Thanks for letting me ramble on and on about myself. I hope you're having a great day and send me all advice again. You really kicked my rear into gear with this message!

Hey Kyra! How tall are you again? It's funny after my vacation when I finally decided to step on the scale after my junk eating feast and all I weighed 129 too! I just want to be back down to 122lbs at my 5 week mark into my challenge but really as long as it keep going down I'll be happy. There is still room for improvement in my nutrition but I've been doing so much better well besides girls night. Wine and too much unhealthy crap doesn't go well. I had way too much crap but when it's there I want it! Oh well that's all out of my system now right!

I think we might take the kids out to eat Saturday night. They really enjoy going out too and then Sunday Tristin wrestles in his second tournament so I can't wait. It's the cutest thing ever Kyra. I want to try to post this clip from his first match that he won on facebook. We'll see if I ever get around to it.

I hope you are having a good start to the week. I'm finally back to eating normal and definitely pushing the healthy foods. Sweets don't even sound good. I'm sure that won't last for long though! emoticon
