Time for a Change for the 1-0 !!!

Hey, Hey everybody!!! Hope you had a nice new year. Last year, my goal was to get back down to 140 from 160 but at the beginning of this new year, I find myself at 171.2 instead which I'm not mad at since it means I only really gained 11 lbs for the entire year and I think the recent holidays is what did me in. But this is the beginning of the new year and my school's spring semester hasn't even started so I'm going to start over again with a different weight loss plan and see if I can shed ...
But this is the beginning of the new year and my school's spring semester hasn't even started so I'm going to start over again with a different weight loss plan and see if I can shed these extra pounds. I'm actually pretty happy with just being at 171 because it could've been worst considering I decided not to weigh in for months at a time because it seem to run my weight the wrong way. Initially I ended up losing weight with this method, but I think the holidays is what killed it. 3 different lovely cakes and then I've also made a significant other out of curvy jars filled with candy, BUT my hopes are high that with God's help, who I think allows me to succeed in anything good, that I can lose the these pounds. Well, that's all for me.

See ya @ the finish line!!!

Monique

Hey, Monique Girl,
emoticon Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and didn't eat too much. These holidays can be a real problem. I know you want to see that scale go DOWN.
I recovered from my gallbladder surgery, 10-14 but I regained 24# over that time period from August, so I'm back now working to get it off. Regained pounds are as difficult to lose as the regular ones!! I won't quit and I know you won't either. emoticon

Nathan's cancer check up last month came back "clean" so we were happy. He has an interview a the U. of Florida Medical School on Friday, so we hope he will get accepted to the 2010 class. emoticon
