3 Years 6 months of maintenance! I am doing it.

I have lost 110 pounds. I have completed three years, 6 months of maintenance and am entering into year 4. Exercise, planning, and healthy eating have become a way of life for over four years. I can do this. I can keep this weight off!

It is time to say I am going to make it this time and keep up my health. I am not returning to sugar, emotional eating, and refined carbs. Bingeing is no longer part of my life.

My Goals:
A decision made about what to weigh is a decision about how to live.

To wake up determined and to go to sleep with satisfaction.

It may be hard, but it is not impossible and I will find a way.
When I lost all of my excuses, I found all of my results.
To decide on a weight is to decide on the life you want to live.

My Program:
Health low carb eating. Exercise and strength training.

In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.

When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember, you haven't. Thomas Edison

Other Information:
For each mile that keeps us apart, there is a warm thought that keeps us together.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference,

Thanks for reading and commenting on my hospital thoughts blog. These situations are so difficult, but a real wake up call to all of us. We need to manage our weight and include cardio, ST, balance and flexibility activities to give ourselves the best chance at mobility in old age.

Thank you for the bloglove on my post 75 Days Does Not A Habit Make. I'm proud to say I did get outside with those doggies and took a tiny walk. That's enough to count because life really does make other demands. the funny thing is that only a week ago I had begun to think I really had formed a habit - that I had quit waking up thinking "it's all too much I can't do this" ah well. It's all about being conscious, right? Being present - being here. And that is all good.

And thank you for the compliments about my furbabies. They are so spoiled. They think they let us get up in the big bed!
