I'm back - this time for good!

I've been away for awhile - i had got down to 162 before and then i gained back 20 lbs! i realized, i can't do this alone - i had great success with Spark People before and i need to get back! So here i am. Since i returned, i've lost 4 lbs in the past month and i feel a renewed determination. I've set a new goal....(deep breath)...140 lbs by December! It's a lot, i know, and i'm not even sure that my frame can support 140 lbs, but i'm going to try anyway. I know i need to continue to ...

It has to be my lifestyle. Period. I feel so much better about myself when i'm disciplining myself to be active and healthy.

My Goals:
One of my goals is to try to do some sort of OUTSIDE activity each day. Last week i started walking to work every day and home for lunch and back. It's about 3 blocks - UPHILL - so it takes 8 minutes one way. That's 32 minutes a day of walking!

My Program:
i like to do exercise videos and i have a pretty good variety, so i use them mostly. However, since my goal above is to get outside, my husband and i have started playing tennis together a couple of times a week for my cardio day. It's really fun!

Other Information:
my favorite movie is Hunt for Red October. I like generally most movies that involve the ocean. I also really enjoy studying the Bible and try to do that at least once a day. It's encouraging and uplifting. After all, I may get fit now, but one day, this body won't profit me one iota!
