Destination Motivation

Hello. I am a 35 year old wife and step-mother of 3.

I started SP years ago, and had success the first time around. I was at a comfortable weight and working out 4-5 days a week and loving it. Then I met my husband and moved in with him and his family 45 minutes away from my job and gym. Over the 4 years since I met him, I have gained back all the weight I had lost and then some.

I am not blaming my husband in any way, I was just HAPPY and not as committed to ME ...

I started SP years ago, and had success the first time around. I was at a comfortable weight and working out 4-5 days a week and loving it. Then I met my husband and moved in with him and his family 45 minutes away from my job and gym. Over the 4 years since I met him, I have gained back all the weight I had lost and then some.

I am not blaming my husband in any way, I was just HAPPY and not as committed to ME as I was now an US.

I am now trying to find ME time again in my US life. I love my husband and kids, but I do not love the me I have let myself become. We are also trying to have a baby, so I hope the weight loss will benefit this goal as well.

A couple of months ago I decided to delete my ovulation tracker (after 18 months of ritual tracking) and add the SP app. Since then, I have lost 12 pounds just by eating healthier. I now want to work exercise back into my schedule. I work 8+ hours, drive 45 minutes each way, plus attend school part-time. It is so easy for me to make excuses...I need to find motivation instead!
