I would like to invite you to join me on the Biggest Loser Winter Challenge.

BL Challenge is a 10 week challenge, run 4 times a year (spring, summer, fall and winter), made up of 10 teams with 24 active members on each. We compete in weekly nutrition and fitness challenges. Within each individual team you'll soon find your amazing teammates are there to support you, offer friendship, challenge you and keep you accountable just when you need it most!

The Fall challenge round is ending and the BL Winter Challenge will be starting December 6. If you are interested in joining us, please go to the Biggest Loser Winter Challenge All Teams page, click join, and add your name to the waitlist! You will find that team icon on my spark page. You'll be notified right away of which team you've been placed! Give it a try! What better way to lose a few pounds and work on your nutrition and fitness than with a group of fantastic people encouraging you every step of the way.

    Hugs, Linn

Thanks for your comment on my latest blog ("I'd be dead!"), I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. That's where our road is leading, I'm hoping it will be later rather than sooner, but when he was diagnosed (stage 4 prostate cancer) four years ago, they told us the average life expectancy was 4 and one-half years. That is too close, but my Du seems to be beating the stats, and I hope will be with me for a long time. But we all know it's not forever. I do try to keep my eating under control around him. I sneak food when he's in the living room and I'm in the kitchen. He is not judgmental, so I'm not sure why I do that. When I announced to him this morning that I'm going to get back on the wagon, he was so supportive (as he always is), and said he would be right there with me, wanting himself to lose a few pounds, on his oncologist's recommendation. He had lost 25 pounds last summer when I was losing my last regain, and wants to lose 25 more. We'll work on it. Him being gone on his Spring Training trip last week seemed to be an excuse for me to eat eat eat. I do worry about how I will react when (and if--but it's pretty certain) I lose him. I don't want to go back to being that 328-lb. unhealthy, sad woman I was for so long. Addictions are truly a bitch. Prayers to you on the loss of your husband. Hopefully you can regain your strength and reverse the eating and subsequent weight gain. I can only imagine how hard it must be, and how hard it will eventually be for me too. emoticon
