Losing Kat...

I'm Kat. I'm a single mom. I am a medical coder during the day, and I teach medical coding at night. I joined Sparkpeople and lost a lot of weight - got down to 135 lbs...and then gave up. I'm starting over...again!

I love dogs, but I am passionate about collies. We raise and show smooth and rough collies. I love to read, and I devour books. I am devoted to my daughter and family. I am highly motivated to reach my goal weight...but also to learn how to maintain the weight ...

My Goals:
I want to get down to 130 - 135 lbs. More importantly, I want to maintain that weight loss.

I restarted my weight loss journey on Aug. 12, 2013!

Goal 1: lose 26 lbs by April 27th (which will put my weight at 199 lbs, out of the 200's!)

My Program:
I am setting small goals, walking daily, going to the gym and staying within my calorie range.



Personal Information:
I'm returning, again. Today, March 9th 2016, is day 1.

emoticon Kat, emoticon for responding . I set a date to get back on track & this held be accountable. It has been 3 days back on track & I have lost a few lbs. mostly water but I will take the loss.

Just wanted to say Hi! and I hope things are going well for you. I haven't been around a ton this round but I haven't seen much of you either...you were such a huge encouragement last round and did so well on your weight loss, I hope life is not getting in your way this round. Keep going!!

Kat!! I have been dipping my toes back into Sparkpeople over the last couple of months. Just got onto the latest voyage of BLC and yeah I miss Green Godesses and all of the other great teams I've been on over my first tour of BLC. Glad to see you're here and it sounds like we're both getting things started for ourselves again. I know you can do this!!
