How did I get to look like this?

I'm 44 years old, living in the midwest. I've never spent a lot of time exercising; I was naturally active as a kid. Even in college, I didn't do much and pretty much stayed the same weight. I've gained 5-10 pounds a different times as I've gotten older. After having 2 kids, I never took off all of the weight (they're now 10 & 14). I've been dealing with sleep problems for the last 5 years and will go to the kitchen to eat when I wake up..AND now, I can't stop eating at night. Intense ...

Intense stress over marriage, life, and money, gave me cravings to eat all junk food. After my divorce, I thought I could turn things around and get in shape, but nope, I just ate more unhealthy. I've had depression for many years and while there are many good days, on the bad days I am so tired and unmotivated, I can't force myself out and I hate myself because I've become weak and fat. I've always thought when I hit bottom, I'd get motivated..no problem. But no..my problem is laziness and I need to stop thinking about it and actually do it.

Working out at Y about 5 days a week..try to do 2 days of strength training
