"You are successful the moment you start moving toward a worthwhile goal." Charles Carson

For 2013, I am choosing good health and all that it entails to be that person. I think of how many times I have started over again, but all the negative thoughts get in the way of long-term positive action. Over the last several months, I have gradually gained back 10 of 18 pounds lost. For 2013, I am choosing good health and all that it entails to be that person. I think of how many times I have started over again, but all the negative thoughts get in the way of long-term positive action. Over the last several months, I have gradually gained back 10 of 18 pounds lost. But I am encouraged by the fact that now when I hit that symbolic reset button, I am not in the same place as one year ago. I am armed with more knowledge about nutrition and despite the weight gain, I am more physically fit than I have been in years. I have been going to the gym 3 times/week and am overall more active.
So the plan now is to follow my Spark nutritional and fitness guide. All of this is only possible through curtailing that negative self-talk (daily meditation) and enjoying life where I am at today, in this present moment. Over and over again, it has been proven that long-term success is much more likely through mutual support, which we have in abundance at SparkPeople.
Be kinder to yourselves than necessary and just remember that what you may call failure is actually success in disguise!!!

Take care,
Kathy

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

To be honest, I don't really remember. I was doing so many different things at the time.
