Have you ever experimented with melatonin for sleep? -- I don't use it every night, but it really does seem to help me get closer to the 8-hr mark. If I wake up in the night, I seem to be able to roll over and fall right back to sleep.
It is considered a "natural" product. I use a time-release tablet maybe 8 or so times in a given month. (It doesn't work for everyone...)
