Hi there Kathy -

I can only imagine the havoc! It looks like you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I am so glad! The pictures are always so nice, and I love that Rosie is always in the shot! It was really nice to see your Christmas tree trip with the family again this year. Just great.

I am rebounding off some crazy eating and the sugar monster has a hold on me but not as hard as yesterday. Yeay!! I want to get back feeling strong before Christmas!

Thanks Kathy! I have experienced the disappearing novel on SP also! Very frustrating! I am OK. It was a great weekend with way too much food and drinking. Some was just fun but I feel like there was some stress eating going on too. Mandy and Doug came and were good but no ring talk :(

My niece moved in on Sunday with Patty- 15 mo. Adorable and very busy! I missed treadmill on Monday- no opportunity until & p and I couldn't do it. Not much sleep Sunday night and up at 5:45 with Patty. I hope and pray we can do this for 6 months! Monday they asked if their dog can come here too! I feel a bit overwhelmed and a teensy bit taken advantage of- I said we would have to talk about it- we have 4 dogs here already! My sister and her husband are being jerks. Told Monica best if they don't speak for awhile. Today is her 30th birthday! I can imagine not wanting to talk to my Mom (as a rebel youth) but I cannot imagine saying that to my child! Yep- stress and anger. I feel myself dredging up things that made me angry during my care period with my Mom. My sister delivers mail. She could have retired 3 years ago. Helped with my Mom 2 weeks out of 2 years. Recently Monica had her husband's aunt in Miami care for Patty when she was running a fever and couldn't go to daycare! 4 hours away from your sick child??? Monica has missed too many days already her new teaching position and really can't miss more. My sister and her husband kept working and let their grandchild go to Miami! Who wants to drive 4 hours with a sick baby on top of being so far away if she gets worse? Plus a baby wants her parents/familiar caregivers when she is sick! My sister told me the other day she hadn't missed a day of work in 25 years! I guess she's proud of that but I said that is not how I want to be remembered at my funeral! I guess I am mean! The Miami thing happened while we were in the UK. This baby has been sick almost constantly since August- I am sure part is daycare exposure but Monica thinks there could be mold or something at her parents house. I just hope she isn't allergic to dogs! Sorry for the whining- there are many blessings in this situation. will share some pics of Patty she is a little doll. A very busy doll! Keith has been childproofing and it does help! I am going to carve out that 60 min of treadmill time for me everyday just for a sanity break! Hopefully chasing the baby will help too! I am making healthy choices and trying to offer Patty better food than prepackaged stuff. Last night her mom gave her a cookie and I gave her a strawberry. She dropped the cookie and ate the berry! YAY! emoticon emoticon

Hi Kathy -

Popping over to say I'll be back on tonight (logging food from work!).
Sounds like your Thanksgiving prep is coming along nicely. We're hosting Christmas and will be in the same boat.

We got 2" of snow ourselves. Finally melted and now we're in the deep freeze. UGH!

Happy Monday! I need to learn some consistency! 2 days at beach and this morning back over 150! Sigh...

We are getting in the 30's tomorrow night! Lot's going on- I need to do a real email- my niece and her 1 yo may come live with us through end of school year- her husband is in England and will be restationed to Mississippi in Feb. I love them but nervous about fulltime childcar on top of my work at home side of our business. Childproofing has begun. Worried about "junkfood " coming into house, I do enough damage on the weekends! Stress!

27-30 at Thanksgiving! Super memories for years to come. We are going to do simple Thanksgiving at beach. 8 people-including Mandy & Doug! Keith is going to deepfry the turkey! I bought burlap to try to create a rustic yet cohesive theme- wish me luck! emoticon
