Disabled But Not Dead

I may use a walker and a wheelchair, but I am not dead and am happy about that. There is so much to life, no matter if you can walk or not and I want to experience all that I can for the rest of my life. I am vibrant and happy and now I want to look the same way.

My Goals:
I have lost 200 pounds since Aug. 7, 2009 and I intend to stay with Spark People from here on out, not just when I reach what I think is a final goal.

My Program:
I am exercising and have made major changes in the way I eat. I eat what I want, just amounts and snacking have changed.

Personal Information:
My name is Kathy and I am from Columbus, Ohio. I enjoy reading and traveling I have been married 41 years and I have a 38 year old son.. I am a big Ohio State Buckeyes fan. GO BUCKS!

Other Information:
My program is a very simple one. I plan my meals every morning and very seldom do I make any changes. This includes snacks. I practice portion control and drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. I also try to get in two hours of exercise everyday. I do not deprive myself of special treats, but I pick and chose the treats that I have and make sure that I practice the portion control with them.
