Striving for Shorts Without Shame

Between 2007 and 2011, I gained two children -- and 68 pounds. I kept looking back, filled with regret at not having done something about this weight gain sooner, but looking back didn't propel me forward. Before kids, I loved being a healthy and fit person, and I looked forward to being healthy and fit -- and loving it -- again. I joined here in 2010, but started over for all intents and purposes in March 2012. As of April 2013, I was 58 pounds down, with 10ish to go.

Now, as April 2014 approaches, I am back to having 30 pounds to lose, but for a good reason, as March brought the birth of our third child. When I get the all-clear to exercise again in mid-April, I'll be back.

Late April: Fitness videos/on demand
May: 30-Day Shred
June: Finish the Shred
Late June - mid July: Mix and match videos + running
Late July: Kayaking, swimming, hiking, walking
August - October: C25K (M, W, F); circuit training, kickboxing or yoga (T, Th(, S))
November-December: 30 day gym trial -- swimming; continue running, building to 10k
December-February: Insanity, Continue running, building to 10k
February-April: Concentrate on running
