To find myself again. Where is that wild woman?
Eating like an athlete. Eating for nutrition.
Katrina. Age 53. Married with 2 kidskin college. Woman of the world who has been living in the Pacific Northwest for 22+ years but who yearns to go back to the Rocky Mountains. I am tired of the rain. I miss the sun, the snow, the big open spaces, the mountains, the rivers and being outside.
I love to travel and anyplace I haven't been is someplace I want to go. I am multilingual and I have lived, studied and worked abroad.
Thanks for commenting on my blog. You seem to be quite the traveler. My husband and I lived in the Pacific Northwest, Idaho and Colorado when we first married. Idaho was by far my favorite. We lived in the panhandle and loved every minute of it, but life called us back to Oklahoma for medical reasons and we have somehow just stayed another 35 yrs.
Thanks for commenting on my blog! Yes, we love Colorado in the fall! I was surprised we didn't see any elk on our road trip. I know you'll think I'm nutz, but I'm jealous of where you live! I love the Pacific NW! My 2 older sisters live in Olympia and my husband & I talk about moving out to WA someday. We both love the rainy days, and cooler temps, so I think it would be a good fit. But who knows. Sounds like you are quite the traveler! Enjoy your journeys!
One of the big reasons that I made this big change to my life is the fact I was on the cusp of turning 30 - I didn't want to spend my 30's and potentially my 40's and 50's living an unhealthy, subpar life. (I can only imagine what health issues I would have had if I had gone to my doctor last year!)
Now, I feel like the world is mine and I can't wait to explore it fully :)
