I'm Kat. I live in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina with my boyfriend, Stephen. I'm a full-time college student, studying for my B.A. in General Psychology and after achieving that I will move on and get my Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Between trying to enjoy life, keep an excellent grade point average and my struggle with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, losing weight and getting in shape has been no easy task. Last March I quit work, and now that Maymester is here and ...

Between trying to enjoy life, keep an excellent grade point average and my struggle with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, losing weight and getting in shape has been no easy task. Last March I quit work, and now that Maymester is here and I'm only taking 2 online classes over the summer, I know I can do this!
I was on a great track for awhile. I got down to 175 pounds and was crushed to realize I'm at 248. When I gained my weight back I also gained additional anxiety, self-esteem issues(which I've never had), mood swings...I lost my passion for music, for going out, for my art and for just about everything else.
I'm not going down without a fight. I'm gonna lose this weight and change my life for the better!

My Program:
Eating:
Limiting calories, but more importantly watching what I eat. I'm going to try to cook at least 4 days a week, and do the shopping for the house.

Exercise:
Tony Horton's Power half-hour. It's, excuse my French, an ass-kicker. 6 days a week, rest on Sunday.

Motivation:
Daily blogging, healthy rewards, a better lifestyle
