Time for Change

I'm Kim, I am currently severly obese! I have Type 2 Diabetes that is not controlled. I have ulcers, frequent colon polyps, and other GI problems. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired! Time to take control of this situation. I know that I will do it this time. I have the help of God and my daughter.

Hello Kim! Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I am still new to this site; trying to figure it all out. It really surprised me to find a nice comment so soon.

We seem to be in the same boat with 2 different diseases. I hope that I can give you some motivation as well. If you want, I can help find some recipes for your disease. As far as exercise, even 10 minutes is great! Any amount of exercise is an accomplishment since it's more than before.

You are a great inspiration to me. God Bless!

Thanks for your comment on my sparkpage!!
My husband has mutilpe disabilities, including being legally blind. And I help a couple of friends that also have visual impairments.
I definately understand that overwhelmed feeling!!
if you'd like, come join the Caregivers Support Team (but if you don't I understand). Glad to know I'm not the only caregiver on the Slowest Looser team!

It's overwhelming isn't it when you look at the big picture, for me it's almost scary and filled with doubt - let's try and do this together. Maybe then it will be a little less scary. emoticon
