I have to figure out a way to change my all or nothing thinking. I haven't picked a weight goal but I'm really interested in getting healthy and becoming more active and social. I tend to lock myself away when I gain weight.

I have to figure out a way to change my all or nothing thinking. I haven't picked a weight goal but I'm really interested in getting healthy and becoming more active and social. I tend to lock myself away when I gain weight.
It's embarrassing and I really don't like the first look you get when someone hasn't seen you in awhile. AWKWARD. Even more than that though, my health is deteriorating. I'm on several medications and my hip has become so tight from inactivity I can't put my own socks on. Let me tell you something, when you can't put your socks on that's the Universe changing from a gentle whisper to a roar. I have got to take better care of myself.

We're going back to the beach for vacation this year and I have to be able to walk!! I have a HUGE goal of getting down 44 pounds so I can enjoy the beach a little more. It's a large amount in a short period of time but I'm going to give it all I have. Once I accomplish that, my plan is to raise my calories 100 at a time until I stop losing and then just stay there forever! Of course, I tend to change my goal 1000 times before I ever fish one so we'll see!!
