I am 60 years old, married. and have one adult daughter. I serve as adoption coordinator and general "jack of all trades" for a no-kill animal shelter. My purpose in life is to help homeless, abandoned, and abused animals. My goal is to become physically fit and lose 94 pounds so I can continue to take care of the dogs as I get older. I am a follower of Christ and believe God has called me to take care of his animals--it is a privilege to serve God by ministering to them.
Get down to 180 pounds by March 1 2017 Exercise for at least 30 minutes, at least 4 times a week Personal Goals--Plan for Living-- To accept my limitations but at the same time to be the best person I can be--to live by the Serenity Prayer To serve God To minister to God's creation by providing comfort to animals in need To treat my body as the temple of God To love and respect myself as a daughter of God
Exercise at least 4 days a week for at least 30 minutes
Work on eating a healthier diet . Read my devotional, read from the Bible, and spend time with God every day . Continue with my passion of animal rescue and working for the humane treatment of all animals, and a day when there will be no homeless pets.
I live in the southern U.S.
I am 60 years old and my passion is animal rescue. My primary focus is on dog rescue, but I love all animals. I used to rescue guinea pigs and served as a mentor to new guinea pig owners. At this time, however, my work with dogs at the shelter takes up so much time that I have had to narrow my focus. Besides all the shelter animals and my foster dogs, I am owned by 9 dogs and a grumpy cat.
Ephesians 3:20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind Isaiah 40:31 Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint Philippians 4:6-7 Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

"GREET EACH DAY WITH YOUR PROJECTION" "I awake sometimes a mere shadow of myself. Without a mirror I judge this shadow. Yet, prior to the days beginning, I foresee my future perfect self. In order to rise above my shadow, I dilute my negativity, And bring in the illusion of endless happiness, Drawing a smile on my face, Opening my eyes to the clarity of hope. For I now greet the day with my projection of myself. As being hopeful in my journey." by e, herz www.godvine.com/ALL-Women-on-GodVine -Need-to-Hear-This-Incredible-Message- 4071.html?&gr&gr&gr
