5/19/2013: I renewed my effort yet again. I reached my all-time high weight of 222 around this time. All my clothes were getting too small, and I refused to buy the next size up.

10/1/2013: I have lost 25 pounds so far! My clothes mostly fit, though I am now on the verge of needing to start buying ...

5/19/2013: I renewed my effort yet again. I reached my all-time high weight of 222 around this time. All my clothes were getting too small, and I refused to buy the next size up.

10/1/2013: I have lost 25 pounds so far! My clothes mostly fit, though I am now on the verge of needing to start buying smaller sizes. I reset all my goals, with the intent of losing another 37 pounds. This will put me into the overweight range for BMI, bye-bye obesity!

August 2014: I am getting married! While this is a new source of motivation to lose weight, I'm trying to keep my goals realistic. I have a dress in my closet that is too small right now. I will be very excited to report that it zips up one of these days soon!

Lose 1.5 lbs per week.

Achieve and maintain a healthy-range BMI!

Don't give up.

Forgive myself when I work against my goals instead of toward them.

My Program:
Track eating. All of it.

Do some exercise each day, shooting for the minimum 10 minutes a day, working my way up!
Any day I exercise at least 10 minutes is a success.

Thanks so much for the support on my blog! I 100% agree on inside vs outside and you're right... eventually they'll match (on most days at least) but until then I'm keeping my head up and moving forward! I'm excited it's finally 2014 - our wedding years!! Best motivation I've had in a while :)
