I've been off and on Spark People since 2009. I got back on in Aug 2012 and finally reached my goal weight on November 25, 2012.

Now is the hard part for me, staying active and continuing to eat healthy. It would be so easy for me slip back into my couch potato, snacking habits!

I believe in baby steps to reach any goal. Small, healthy, smart changes every single day. I don't always have time for a long workout.

I like to to break up my activity throughout the day to keep calorie burn and metabolism working for me all day long. I also believe in rest days. Muscles need a rest to repair and strengthen.

I want to continue to work on staying strong and healthy, not skinny. I watched my mom suffer with many health problems and no muscle tone to help her get through a day. I want to avoid that in my old age!

Thanks for the support. I've definitely been in a funk. I'm normally not like this. I love my workouts but have been wanting to sleep in and hide lately. I forced myself out this morning and it does help.
Part of me wants to do more so the husband isn't so stressed but then when I get a job he freaks out and says no (the yo-yo feeling).
and I thought the gain might be due to my added workouts/weights but I don't want to look the other way if I'm gaining weight. In the past I've ignored it and it got way out of control.
I stayed away from spark all weekend and logged on today and wow. so many comments, I almost cried. Thanks so much for the support and I hope to support everyone here just as much. I guess people don't realize how much someone far away online can effect a person. wow.
    Hope your weekend went well!

ah not sure the name of the class. I think it's called cardio strength blast? It's mainly HIIT intervals High intensity cardio and then switch to strength training weights with abs at the end. It's hard work every time. Your class sounds hard core too, wish we could have rowers!!
