Time for a new me!

I am 33 years old and a mom of one 4 year old girl. I have always struggled with my weight and being healthy, but I know what I need to do to get to where I need to be. Change is never easy, but I'm trying to find a way to make the changes necessary.

I lost track of myself in a lot of ways this summer. It was very busy, and I used that as an excuse to forget about my goal to be healthy. It is time to get back on track. If not now, when?

I'm starting law school ...

I'm starting law school in August, so I'm really working on getting my healthy habits in line before the stress and craziness of that begins. So far so good! I also have a great, real life, accountability buddy who offers loads of support and encouragement on a daily basis. I think that may have been what I was lacking.

Short Term Weight Goals:
1 - Under 200lbs: 9-16-12, 199lbs GOAL MET!
2- Hit 195lbs: it happened, not sure when :)
3 - Hit 190lbs: 6-12-13!!
4 - Under 190lbs - 6-19-13 weighed in at 189!
5 - Hit 185lbs
6 - Hit 180lbs
7 - Under 180lbs

Nutrition Goals:
1 - DRINK WATER!
2 - Stay away from food that I didn't make myself
3 - Refocus my mind when I feel like I want to binge

Fitness Goals:
1 - Use the gym membership that I pay for
2 - Run my first 5k on 9/22/12 (at this point, just don't chicken out)
3 - Overcome my fear of group exercise and try a class
4 - Learn how to use the strength training machines



My Program:
I am determined to bring my breakfast and lunch to work. Eating out constantly not only kills my waistline, but it wastes money that I do not have to waste. I'm also determined to get better about measuring my portions.

I am an Independent Consultant for The Pampered Chef! I love my business and my products, and I would love to talk to you about hosting your own show!

One new product that I'm loving this fall season is the Digital Kitchen Scale. I've been just dying for The Pampered Chef to get one, and now it's here!
