Getting there and staying there

I'm looking forward to finding myself at a weight and fitness level that I can maintain for the rest of my life-- and I'm almost there! My body has been commandeered twice by pregnancy, and not returned in the same condition. I'm a little older, a little wiser, and no longer looking for a quick fix or a magic potion. I will remember every hard-earned pound of weight loss, and hopefully won't let all this effort be in vain.

Thanks for checking on how am doing. Well, my workouts are few and far between. We had to move my main workout source(my treadmill) to the basement b/c the kids kept playing on it, and we didn't want them to get hurt. So, I never really go to the basement. Hopefully, I can find another easy workout routine to do with the kids. Something easy and to involve them.

I loved what you said about trying to conquer compulsive eating. Trying to sneak out and replace something you've eaten is an old trick of mine too! Have a healthy journey. :)

I was really happy to see your reply to the SparkPeople board about using this site. I have had people in my life tell me that they feel I'm obsessive about my weight loss and exercising. I was so happy (sorry for being happy, lol) to see someone else had the same issue!
