One of the most important lessons we end up learning when taking on our respective fitness journeys is just how STRONG we really are. We fight with ourselves, we put ourselves down, we growl, yell and cry in frustration, and sometimes we swear that we're going to give up. But we don't. We keep going, despite all of our negative thoughts. We keeping pushing for the payoff that we know we want and that we know we can reach!
On my own journey I've learned so much about myself, my strength and what I'm truly capable of. Most importantly, though, I've learned (but occasionally need a reminder) that the changes I'm making are for me and no one else. Your journey needs to be about YOU because you are important. That took me way too long to learn. I am important. I do matter. No one can change my body but me.
As long as we all keep pushing, nothing can stop what we will achieve!
My goals used to be solely number based. But, in recent months I've stopped weighing myself every week. While it can be an important number, what the scale says isn't the be all, end all number!
I'm aiming for looking in the mirror and being truly happy with what I see and feeling very comfortable in my own skin. That flat stomach WILL be mine one day!
Right now, and probably for the next three months, I'm doing PiYo! I'm really loving the challenge it's giving me. It forces me to slow down a bit and learn a bit of patience with holding some of the poses, but it also totally wipes me out without being full of jumps and high intensity cardio.

You know I'm a DVD addict right. So yes, I'm thinking about it. Bren, (JITZUROE) had sent me a link to check it out, ordering it from Beach Body, during a free shipping special. So it was only $60. But I also saw it on AMAZON with free shipping for Prime Members, at $72 Plus AMAZON had a "deluxe" version for $135 or $150 can't remember. But a reviewer said, you get an additional workout buying the deluxe version directly from Beach Body. But I looked on BB.com and didn't even see a deluxe version. So….. Just wondering if I should bother. A lot of reviewers said, it was a good "add on" program to P90 or more intense workouts, so I was hoping you'd know the scoop.
