Fall Present to Myself: 2012-2013's Journey

My Ultimate goal: Reach the ideal weight for my height before my 27th Birthday (October 2013). The ideal weight for my height is between 130-140#.

Mini-goal Rewards:
1. Down 10# = Time for a new hair doo!
2. Down 20# = Buy Two New Movies!
3. Down 30# = Purchase a New Dress!
4. Down 40# = Goodwill shopping for pants and shirts.
5. Down 50# = Spa day! (Half way to goal weight!)

My Goals:
- Personally, I just want to live a healthy lifestyle and continue to do so.
- Understand what TRUE hunger is instead of eating when I feel like it or when it fits into my schedule.
- To reach half my goal weight by 22/24/2013 at 180~190#.
- Reach goal weight of 130~140 by September 2013.

My Program:
- Drink 8 cups of water daily.
- Walk once a day for half an hour.
- Understand and use actual proportions instead of guessing.
- Continue to use nutritional and fitness tracker.
- Increase physical activity!
- Decrease food intake
- Make wiser choices regarding food choices.

Personal Information:
- Grew up in Cleveland, OH.
- Went to College in Pittsburgh, PA.
- Moved to the greater Toledo area and returned to school Fall 2011 for second bachelor's degree.
- Alpha Phi Omega Co-Ed Service Fraternity (Zeta Kappa Chapter!)
- Work at Zoo in Education Department.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. I wouldn't exactly call it running -- more like a mixture of walking and light jogging that I am able to do for at least 3 miles when given incentive like a t-shirt or a warrior helmet and banana. 5ks are nice because you are involved in the community, you HAVE to finish, and they usually give you an apple and gatorade at the end. I'll definitely come back to check out the team in August.

Congrats on your weight loss! Sounds like a stressful time. I'm about to go on vacation for the next week so I'll be offline...but if there's action on the APO team I'll be sure to check it out when I get back.

Thanks for the congratulations Brother!
I am in fact still living in BG until August so I'm totally down for exercising together a couple times a week or what have you. My apartment complex has a little gym facility so you're welcome to come over as my guest whenever you're interested!
PS- I still owe you the Alum Relations binder for which I am terribly sorry about. It's today's project so you'll have it no later than the end of this week if you're around!
So far my goal is to be 130 by the end of December. We'll see how it goes!!
