I have spent almost all my life overweight, since probably 5th grade when my family moved from the country to town. I no longer had a place to run, with nothing but cement for a yard. Excuses? Maybe at the time. But then I spiraled out of control. After 3 children I found myself larger than ever and not taking any weight off. Now I have some very big goals set for myself. Maybe at the time. But then I spiraled out of control. After 3 children I found myself larger than ever and not taking any weight off. Now I have some very big goals set for myself. I want to be able to run a 5k/8k for our local United Way (which I am a board member of). I know I can do this, I have 8 months of prep time. And there is no longer any procrastinating! I don't do this with any other aspect of my life and I will do it any more where my health is concerned!

My Goals:
My goals are not all fit related. Of course I want to look and feel great. And I want to run an 8k. But I also want to get my bachelors degree. One step at a time.

2013 Goals:

Down 10 by April 1 - missed
Down 20 by June 1 - umm missed again
Down 30 by August 1 - will have to readjust this one
Run my first 5k/8k August 10 - dedicated!
Down 40 by October 1
Down 50 by December 1

My Program:
I am working out one way or another for 20 - 30 minutes each day. I am also watching what I eat, trying to increase my vegetables and fruit more each day.
