MY BODY - HIS TEMPLE

Hi, I'm Kathryn. I've finally accepted the fact that losing weight is no longer the easy process it used to be when I was younger. The combination of menopause and mid-life crisis threw me into a depression . I turned to food for comfort and the pounds started to creep up. Hi, I'm Kathryn. I've finally accepted the fact that losing weight is no longer the easy process it used to be when I was younger. The combination of menopause and mid-life crisis threw me into a depression . I turned to food for comfort and the pounds started to creep up. Initially I was looking for the perfect diet or "magic pill" to lose the weight. Thankfully a health crisis brought me to my senses and with much support and prayers I got on track with a healthy lifestyle. Been a member of SP since Aug 2008 and it has been a blessing. It helps me stay on course from one day to the next and gives me the accountability which was sorely lacking before.. Each morning I say to myself "How can I honor God today?" Part of that requires that I put healthy food in my body (His Temple) and keep as fit as I can. I find that the more my perspective and attitude line up with His will the easier it is to live a healthy life - but I have a long way to go still.

Hello my friend. I GOT MY APARTMENT. I move Sept. 1. Because of my finances I will have to walk the 3 - 4 blocks to the library, it could even be closer to a mile, but I will go there. Internet here is expensive. I need to check on cheaper ones. The hi-rise I am moving into, is the oldest one in town. Has been completely redone. My grandparents lived there. You have to get your own cable & internet. Most hi-riser carry internet and you pay $20. for it. I am a doer, I kam so tired of tv. Being stuck out here, that is all I had, except for my walks and you guys. I love you.

PS It is a low rise, 6 floors.

Hi Kathryn! I am doing good--trying to get out on the trike early in the morning and taking my pug with me with a trolley( about 50 extra pounds to pull) She absolutely loves it--me too!

My Paleo is good too! I started with a bang in January and fell back into bad habits--but I have been doing really well--sometimes the weight goes up but the body fat is going down so nothing to depress me! And I do have some meds to help too!

I go for blood work soon to see if i am doing well inside too! My doctor is with me on this journey--so I am being accountable in many ways!

I can surely relate to starting over again and again! uggg! what a pain that is!

We can do it! My mind is totally in it --I hope it lasts--never mind--it WILL last and get me down to a reasonable weight and a healthy me!

Big hugs--Kathleen
