Hi, thanks for commenting on my page! You asked what I'm doing to help along on my journey. I think the fact that I'm getting ready to hit that milestone of the big 4-0 is a big motivator. I've struggled with my weight a lot in my life, mainly when I'm at a desk job. I'm logging all of my foods into the Nutrition Tracker which is a big help and it keeps me accountable. I pack healthy snacks to bring into the office, like Cuties, Apples, Celery, lunch meat and cheese, etc. I've always been a drinker (alcohol), so I've cut that out and that drastically reduces my caloric intake (I allow myself a cheat day on the weekend). I bought a treadmill and I've been trying to do at least 20 minutes a day on that. I know it's not a lot but I had to start somewhere. I've been very sedentary for a long time now.
I saw a picture of myself from a wedding last month and I looked so big and I thought I looked really pretty that day! Lol :) It's okay though, I've been able to lose weight in the past, so I know I can do it again. It is definitely getting harder to lose the older I get though, so I want to get this under control before I'm another year older! Lol :) 32 days ago
