Getting fit

I've been slowly changing my eating patterns and have lost weight. I guess I never really learned the proper amount of foods to eat or the types of food to eat. I wish that I had learned portion control earlier, like in my teens, but its better later than never.

My Goals:
To get in better shape and firm up. I want to walk regularly, both on a treadmill or using WATP dvds. I'm adding pilates and yoga back into my fitness plan.

My Program:
I work out nearly everyday. I also am following the 80/20 plan where I eat good healthy foods 80 percent of the time and I eat less healthy foods 20 percent. My hardest part is changing my mindset to realize that there are no bad foods, just lack of control. Now that I don't deny myself, I don't overeat as much.

Personal Information:
I'm a Cajun mutt from Texas. Single, no kids. I live in my garden when the weather permits it.

Other Information:
I love to read, fish, cross-stitch, garden, cook, and be outdoors.
