~New Me~

So I have been a member of sparkpeople for quite a while!

In 2010, I weighed in at 210lbs. I was mortified the day I saw that number on the scale. I didn't think I would ever let myself weigh more than 200lbs. Slowly I have come away from that number.

I'm getting out of a pretty bad marriage, and am just trying to rediscover who I am/was. I would like to take the next year to really focus on me. Get back to a healthy weight, with a positive self image. And be strong!! ...

In every way.

The biggest part of my journey is the evolution of me. What I mean by that is how I am handling all of my struggles. Unfortunatly weight is not my biggest battle. I'm trying to find my path in life. I am tieing up loose ends, and just trying to rebuild, after my world came crashing down the summer of 2012.

So my goals, well, I would like to get down to 135lbs, that is my ultimate goal but it is significantly more complex than that. I want to do a complete lifestyle makeover, so I'm more concerned with my lifestyle than the weight(which ends up being a positive side effect). So in order to reach my goal, I have a "slow and steady, wins the race" mentality. I've done it many times before working out for a few weeks going perfectly and falling off the wagon. So I'm making small changes, and blogging about it to implement habits and not binges.

Our entire wedding party wore Chuck-T's. Only ours were customized though. :o)

And we decided every year for our Anniversary we will each get a new pair custom made with how long we've married embroidered on them.

Thanks for the words of wisdom. It definitely is crazy that we're always going through the same stuff at the same time. I have to say, it's been so great having you in my life since last year :)

Hey :D Thanks for the comment on my blog. I get what you're saying, but the thing is I go to chocolate when I'm stressed out or emotional and I over indulge in it. I'm addicted to it, like literately addicted to it like a crack addict. This whole month thing is to force me to find a new/healthy outlet for my stress and other emotions.

Hey I saw your message on another's blog about how she might better put her month long challenge. I started to say something on her page as well, but then I realized you had already said everything I could have said. No need to pile on the poor girl. So I decided to come read your blog. Good Luck and best wishes!
