I am 65 years old, married for 43 years, have three grown daughters, and two young granddaughters. I live in Illinois and am retired from a 20-year job as an activities assistant on an Alzheimers' unit in a nursing home.
After retirement I decided to "broaden my horizons" by expanding my activities. I joined a knitting class, volunteered in a kindergarten class, and caught up on my reading. One of the ladies in my knitting group "sparked" me with informatin about this program...and here I am!
I saw your last post to my page from April 2015 this morning. I am back on the site trying to get going again. I completely fell off the wagon and the site 2 years ago. I hope you're doing okay; you mentioned a back injury. I have been struggling with foot and knee injuries. Do you think losing weight might help my poor knees?? ;) Hope to hear from you again sometime.
Thank you! I just saw your comment on one of my photos. The family reunion one and yes...they all recognize me because they saw me a year before this one after the passing of my uncle in chicago. Some saw me before his passing, but everyone knew this change happened -it was just a shock for them to still see me at it for as long as I was. I normally reach but somehow like now...something stresses me and I yo-yo back to a close high. This time I caught it before I got way out of hand. Thank you so much for your comment and I am working on turning over this leaf for good. Lynn
