Konrad695 aka- Konrad at the Steinhaus.

Just your average 43 year old man trying to retune that lost health and get my form back. Have a wife, 2 kids, mortgage, and the family wag (living the American dream). Currently working as a bartender/server at the Steinhaus in Bay City, MI. My last experiment in restaurant management didn't work out, so I'm back on the floor.

My Goals:
First goal is to once again get fit and toned. Would like to complete any run without pain or injury. Plan on some road races, trail runs, at least one marathon, and an ultra trail run.

My Program:
Plan on- Tracking food to keep diet honest. Doing whatever I can to reset body to a healthy level without hurting myself. Focus on stretching, strength, and relaxing. Trying to maintain an all around body/mind health.

Personal Information:
Original life goal was to be a Bio-Chemist, that didn't work out. Settled into my current life and working to push that sun back up in the sky. Gluten free with a bad thyroid.

Thanks for dropping by my blog.

My hope is that the stairs and stair training will help improve my running. I definitely felt it in different muscles. The hard part of the training was finding stairs that I could go up-up-up but no down. I have a much harder recovery with going down.

And a half marathon sounds brutal. CONGRATS! But the next goal is a 15k - but trails...ahhh so much better.

Not leaving for a couple weeks yet. When you get old like us, you have to plan your escape around doctor appointments - last year was me and my gut surgery - this year hubby's annual is coming up. If all goes well with that, we will be leaving early February. I'm so ready to run in warmer weather again!
