One of my first paintings. A collage painting with a "message" (we had to do a collage first then create a painting version) Definitely one of my favorites, really need to take better pictures though.

Taking it one step at a time.

Hi, my name's Renee, I'm an Accounting Major and an amateur artist on the side. I have struggled years (7 in total) with my weight, never losing any, just slowly gaining. I'm also an emotional eater and I have this horrible habit of eating in front of the TV and the computer. Hopefully after joining this awesome site, I'll be able to lose weight and gain some healthy habits too! Hope I can get some support too, after all, one is a very lonely number.

My Goals:
My goals are the following:

1. Lose the Weight

2. Be more active

3. Be more confident

4. Don't procastinate

5. Be able to wear that small dress you bought that you knew wouldn't fit you.

My Program:
Here's what I've been doing:

1. Eat between 1300-1600 calories

2. Walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes a day (6-7 times a week)

3. Do at least 10 minutes of strength training (3-4 times a week)

Personal Information:
I'm from CA but I've originally lived in the Philippines. Didn't really lived a healthy lifestyle for both places, constantly eating fast food almost everyday. My goal is to change that and live a healthier life and also start being more confident.

Other Information:
I like drawing, painting, playing video games and watching movies. Watching movies the most, my favorite genres are alot, but I do favor horror and action. But I'm also a sucker for a good romance movie.

Just checking in. You've got some great goals. How has it been going?
I've been keeping within my calorie goals, also started working out with a personal trainer.
We got about 6 inches of snow the last day.
Keep up the good work.
