Been away from SPARK for awhile due to life's busy chores.
In the last three weeks I have:
gardened, gardened, gardened. the rainy weather made the grass grow so much, I had 8 new rose bushes, annuals and perennials to fool with and weeds, weeds, weeds.
My Son graduated from high school and ALL the family came in. I did ALL the cooking for a whole week which meant groceries, cooking, cleaning, and starting all over again. Plus, the house needed to be in tip top shape. Have I made you tired yet?
Training for that marathon was a priority. I kept up with it and the big day is Sunday. 26.2 here I come.
SPent the last two weekends up at the cabin. Boy is there snow and no internet. Trying to fit in laundry and household while working during the week makes it hard.
Now that I have complained....how are you doing? I hope all has been going great and you are on track with all you goals, dreams, desires, and plans. I hope to go back through your blogs and reward your success. Take Care and thanks for being my friend!

Okay SPARK friends make April 1st a new starting point for a goal you really want to achieve. If you have been working on a goal since January 1st, you have been at it for three full months so be proud of yourself!
For those of you who just have to play pranks from saying, "your shoe is untied" or replacing the sports section with last weeks, just remember....
You Know What They Say About Fools...
The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year. -- Mark Twain
It's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and leave no doubt. --Mark Twain
However big the fool, there is always a bigger fool to admire him. -- Nicolas Boileau-Despréaux
He who lives without folly isn't so wise as he thinks. -- François, Duc de La Rochefoucauld
Sometimes one likes foolish people for their folly, better than wise people for their wisdom. -- Elizabeth Gaskell
Looking foolish does the spirit good. -- John Updike
Let us be thankful for the fools. But for them the rest of us could not succeed. -- Mark Twain
A fool sees not the same tree that a wise man sees. -- William Blake
It is better to be a fool than to be dead. -- Stevenson

Happy Spring TIme!
I love spring! The joy of planning my gardens .I love the first sign of the crocus, daffodil, and tulips pooping up, brushing away the dead and heavy cover to see the strawberries, chives, parsley and lavender emerge, the shoots of green buds on trees, and the robins returning, the morning sounds of the birds chirping.
Spring is a time of renewal. The weather gets warmer and the days grow longer allowing us time to get out doors and PLAY! Finding fun and exciting ways to enjoy the out of doors will invigorate and motivate you plus it changes your routine causing those pounds to drop. Try biking, rollerblading, trail hiking or geocaching. Play kick the can, skipping, or jump roping with the kids. Push strollers, walk dogs, climb fences. Join a league. Grow a garden. The possibilities are limitless.
Spring is a time of freshness. Start trying some new veggies and fruits. Drink lots of water. Give yourself a homemade facial or scrub your feet with an abrasive. Give your house a good cleaning. Get rid of the old.
Okay, hopefully I motivated you to make some fun changes and break up your routine a tad. Let me know what works for you!

I am trying to relax in between the loads of laundry and the house straightening. I sure did enjoy the three day weekend last week!
Hope life has been going good for you SPARK friend. Managing variables can make the difference of a great week to a bummer week. Yesterday when I was out, and all this week for that matter, I was a little down. In reviewing my life in the past few weeks, I had no stress to give me this depressed feeling. I wasn't sick, I love my job, Family is great, blah, blah, blah.
Then it hit me, the butterfly quote and the chaos theory:When a butterfly flaps its wings in one part of the world it can cause a hurricane in another part of the world. Author Unknown
I think I am a little down because of all the unrest in the world.
So I am sending out positive vibes to everyone so our little lights shine and make the world a happier place. May this coming week be full of joy for you and your loved ones. Stay healthy, happy and focused. If you have a problem, try to solve it fast. Keep you butterflies gentle and happy.
May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun
And find your shoulder to light on,
To bring you luck, happiness and riches
Today, tomorrow and beyond.
