I joined SP January 1, 2014 to try to take off all the weight I gained last year and to get healthier. I lost my job in 2012 and people have been cheering me up with sweets and I hope to get some positive encouragement here to eat healthier this year.

My first grandchild was born in December and my younger son got engaged and I want to be healthy so I can enjoy my growing family.

Thank you for the welcome! It looks like we have similar weight loss goals, although you've already made quite a bit of progress! I've never done much solo hiking, but I recently moved out to mountain country and hope to do some this summer. Hope you get to enjoy hiking again this summer!
