I am a 36-year-old wife, mom, and elementary school teacher. I have gained somewhere around 75 pounds since getting married 15 years ago and bringing two awesome boys into the world. I want to get healthier so I can keep up with my two active sons and enjoy my life as much as I can. God has given me this body to take care of and I need to use it to glorify Him. My goal is to get back to my prepregnancy weight by Valentine's Day of 2016. I've started before, but was never in the right "place". Gonna do it this time! I love Jesus, my husband, my boys, Harry Potter, Coke (a bit too much...), and reading and writing fiction. Trying to find some balance at this crazy point in my life!

Fitness Minutes: 4,910

My Goals:
-Stay within my calorie range 6 out of 7 days a week.
-Exercise 5 out of 7 days a week.
-Drink only one Coke a week.
-Lose 30 pounds by Valentine's Day of 2016.

My Program:
-Run/walk 3 x per week.
-Strength train 2 x per week.
Pilates 5 x per week.

Personal Information:
I live in Cheyenne, WY, and although I complain about the weather when it's cold, I LOVE having the mountains in the distance, the beautiful no-too-hot summers, and hardly any bugs! I am married to my best friend and we have two brilliant and adorable sons! (Doesn't everyone think their children are adorable and brilliant? :) ) I teach third grade at an awesome elementary school and although my job is very challenging, it is very rewarding and I love it!

Other Information:
I love Jesus, my husband, my kids, reading books (Harry Potter, Narnia, other kids and YA fiction, as well as John Grisham) knitting, journaling, writing fiction, and teaching at the most awesome school in the world!

    Love helping people get in shape it's a great feeling. So here are a few tips. I saw you pic and based on your body type please make sure you incorporate some deep squats and some push up and set a goal off one pull up to be reach in a few weeks

    love the new years day pic... we weighed in the same but I'm about 8 inches shorter than you so I've got a little more work to do to. We gave up soda a few years back for lent and my hubby has stayed strickly to no soda. I occasionally have it (mostly for a mixer in drinks when we are out celebrating) but after getting over the initial missing it, it's been very rewarding! You can do it!

    I'm doing good! I'm still around, but just started trying some new tactics to tackle this fat suit once and for all. I'm only on Day 3, but I'm doing good so far!
